Reservations:

There is a minimum of one night non refundable deposit for every reservation made. Reservations of three nights or more may be subject to a 50% deposit. If the reservation is canceled at least 8 days (at least 14 days for Group Reservations) before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit amount will become credit toward a future stay at the Inn On 23rd. If cancellation occurs within one week of the arrival date (14 days for Group Reservations), the Inn keeps the deposit and does not offer credit. Early departures will be considered a cancellation within the 7 day period and you will not be entitled to a refund or credit. The Inn will have complete discretion to refund or to credit for early departures and/or cancellations within the 7 day period. The non-refundable deposit is transferable if cancellation occurs 8 days prior to the date of check in & must be in writing. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation as well as the conditions under which the transferable credit must be redeemed, as noted below.

  1. Within 12 months of the original arrival date
  2. Can only be transferred as a credit once
  3. Must pay difference in rate, if applicable
  4. Can be used by person other then original guest

Should you cancel part of your stay (but not all) after arriving, we will charge you for each night that we cannot rebook. Should you cancel part of your stay (but not all) after the 8-day notice period and before arrival, we will charge you for each night that we cannot rebook.

The Inn is a completely non-smoking facility. If you smoke in your room (or anywhere in the hotel) we will charge a $250 recovery fee to your credit card.

Transportation from the airports:

From JFK-Taxi at $45 flat rate plus toll and tip. For the return trip we suggest taking a flat rate car service versus a trip via taxi, which is charged by meter.
From Laguardia-Taxi at metered rate (roughly $30 - 35 for most destinations in Manhattan) plus toll and tip.
From Newark-A train will bring you to Pennsyvania Station (33rd Street between 7th & 8th Avenues); numerous bus lines will bring you to Port Authority (bus station; 8th Avenue between 41st & 42nd Streets). We are an easy subway ride ($2) or an inexpensive taxi ride (about $4-5) from Penn Station or Port Authority.
